Fragrances I’m Wearing all Autumn

Every year, the first breath of crisp ‘almost Autumn’ air has me immediately switching up my daily fragrances. I will admit, my favorite scents are very Summer forward. I absolutely love florals and citrus and salt air that all wear very light, but the annual mood shift that is the approach of Fall becomes my entire personality for 3 whole months. Here are the three fragrances I will be reaching for this year for a cozy Fall.

Mémoire Archives Wish You Were Here

This fragrance was in one of my recent Scentbird packages (which is the highlight of my month by the way) and I fell in love with it right away. It feels like you are coming home after a long day to a house that has already been set up to be cozy, complete with candles lit, soft folk music playing, and warm brown sugar cookies in the oven. The description focuses on its notes of petrichor, almond, and coffee, but to me the strongest that come forward are the almond with brown sugar. It’s like a very mild and comorting Nuts for Nuts cart (ifkyk!) that is sweet but quiet enough for everyday wear.

Eauso Vert Vanilla Embers

I have been a fan of Eauso Vert for a few months now since I tried their discovery set. I was enamored by all of the fragrances that this woman owned, clean perfume brand has to offer. Each genderless fragrance is complex and contemporary, but their warm Vanilla Embers scent perfectly embodies a Fall scent. Vanilla Embers is an Amber Gourmand, with a base of Sandalwood and Vanilla which give the fragrance a certain deepness, while other notes such as cardamom and jasmine add a light finish to the scent. This fragrance can be pulled off for everyday wear, though it is slightly more daring.

Maison Margiela Replica Lazy Sunday Morning

Lazy Sunday Morning is my newest fragrance obsession. It smells unique but feels familiar, equally comforting and exciting. With white musk, lily of the valley, and iris, it has a very sultry undertone, balanced with sweet florals. Perfectly named, it does make me want to stay in bed all day and skip all responsibilities. For me, it feels too intimate to wear for everyday use, but I love this scent for date night, or for a lazy morning in bed for hours.
